When you look at Tracey’s portfolio, you can see telltale signs of her handiwork in all different types of materials and styles and eras. I love how there’s such an airy, clean and inviting quality to every space she designs, but how each project ends up feeling unique and individual.

We’ve consulted Tracey in the last three places we’ve lived, and they couldn’t have been more different – a 19th century row-house in Chicago, a contemporary penthouse condo in Baltimore, and a 1940s New York City apartment. Each time she re-spins our belongings, the look is fresh and fun and perfect for its new architectural setting.

Dear Tracey,

Let me say that you're totally a genius, and we will always do whatever you say. Because we first moved the furniture in our living room the way you recommended, and it's as if the size of the place has doubled. (We may need a larger TV.) And then we moved the dining room table, and you were totally right about that, too. Oh! And in our bedroom -- we moved our dresser and it looks so much better.

Thank you for everything, Tracey. I just can't tell you how much I appreciate all of your advice and help and guidance. You do such tremendously lovely work. You really do. You're absolutely the best.

When I worked with Tracey, ideas poured out of her through quick sketches, floor plans, layouts, color schemes, and an endless stream of resources. With every element, she infused my taste with the original character of the house. Best of all – she told me the reasons why it would work.

Bringing Tracey in while the plan was still on paper was critical. With pencil and eraser, we fixed what she clearly saw as problematic on the written plan. We had the freedom to go in new directions, move walls and doors, and turn a room around to flow better -- BEFORE the contractor started framing. My project came in within budget, and it is simply beautiful.

Working with Tracey is empowering. It is fun. And it is necessary -- whether you are doing one room or the whole house. A space that is well-designed changes the way you live and the way you feel.

What I like about working with Tracey is that she guides us to spend money on the right things and helps us avoid spending too much on the stupid things. Not everything has to be so expensive. Nor does everything you already own have to be tossed out at the curb.

Tracey helps us identify what is valuable, what can be repurposed, what needs to be replaced, and what requires some extra dollars. She is a great listener who understands what we want from our space. And when all is said and done, the whole thing looks like it was meant to be, from floor to ceiling.

Only someone who knows enough about all of it, who is as seasoned and as professional as Tracey, can strike that balance so well -- between luxury and practicality. We love our "new" room and are looking forward to working with Tracey on other, bigger projects. Next up is the kitchen!

Because I manage real estate, it is sometimes difficult to separate “Return-On-Investment” and the importance of paying for great leadership in order to make a house not just a home, but an extension of one's personality.

Tracey came highly recommended by a trustworthy friend, and thus I went into our relationship with optimistic trepidation. But after the first round of meetings with our contractor, I knew that I had no worries. She delivered on both promises of R-O-I and helping to create the aforementioned home.

Make no mistake, Tracey is not just a designer/decorator. She aptly understands blue prints, architecture, and down-and-dirty contracting. On several occasions, Tracey saved me a good deal of money and helped me avoid costly mistakes.  And, during the potentially trying time of renovation, Tracey will keep your marriage intact. Well worth the small investment any day.

I have referred Tracey to several friends, and they have all bought me fairly expensive bottles of wine to show their gratitude.
